Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT – Pediatrics)
Location: Apple Valley, CA
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Day shift | 5x8 hours | 07:00 – 15:00

• Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric and adolescent patients in an outpatient hospital-based setting

• Perform developmental evaluations, reassessments, and ongoing treatment planning

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care

• Treat common diagnoses including autism and developmental delays

• Conduct developmental testing and treatment (required)

• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and early intervention programs

• Complete accurate billing and clinical documentation

• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including OT, PT, and SLP

• Float to acute care hospital units when outpatient census is low (acute care experience preferred)

• Maintain productivity with an average daily patient load of approximately 7 patients

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience

• Must be proficient and able to work independently

• Valid California OT license (must be in hand; no temporary licenses accepted)

• BLS certification

• Experience with pediatric populations, including adolescents

• Ability to perform evaluations, reassessments, and plan-of-care development

• Experience with autism and developmental delay treatment

• Strong documentation and billing skills

• Willingness to float within scope of practice if needed

• Acute care experience

• Charge experience

• Epic charting system experience

• Experience in children's hospitals or pediatric outpatient settings
