Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is part time and will work 8-hour, day shift.

Evaluates, plans, directs and administers medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patient to reach his/her maximum performance and adapt to living within the limits of his/her capabilities. Performs administrative duties and participates in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence.

• Coursework/Training:
  Graduate of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board training program
• California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

• California Children’s Services (CCS) paneled upon hire
• Experience in acute care, outpatient, adult or pediatrics

The wage range for this position is listed as $46.57 - $72.29 base pay; additional compensation may be available (e.g., shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, bonus opportunities).
