PositionSummary
The Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing inventory, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts within the stockroom, warehouse, and/or yard. Ensures accurate inventory control, timely distribution of parts, and a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Essential Functions- Take an active, independent role in daily parts and warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe parts room and warehouse.
- Compile and maintain inventory, purchasing, and shipping records using purchase orders, invoices, and requisitions.
- Enter and update inventory and purchasing data in computer systems and spreadsheets.
- Maintain back-order files in established sequence.
- Analyze stock usage and prepare replenishment requests.
- Prepare requisitions and place orders for new or replacement inventory.
- Distribute parts, materials, and supplies to field and shop personnel.
- Perform physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Perform light building maintenance as needed.
- Occasionally drive company vehicles for errands or job site support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Parts, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience performing physical inventories and cycle counts preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred (certification required or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
Vista experience a plus. - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small group settings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills with the ability to count accurately and track inventory movement using Excel spreadsheets.
Physical Requirements
- Warehouse environment with exposure to heat and cold; office area is climate controlled.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas and while performing certain tasks.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light physical labor throughout the workday.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
