As a Security Officer - Patrol Services in Apex, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security‑related incidents. You will support access control, watch for unusual activity, and document observations while providing professional customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and team members.

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse space, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, directing visitors and drivers to the appropriate check‑in areas.
• Complete security‑related reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes to support continuity of operations.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
