Position OverviewThe Brian Hamilton Foundation is seeking a Head of Growth Automation to design, build, and own our AI-powered outreach and engagement engine, which will help us expand the foundation’s impact.
This is a senior individual contributor role for a self-motivated builder. You will be solely responsible for architecting and executing the foundation’s growth automation strategy, from identifying high-quality datasets to initiating intelligent, personalized outreach systems that expand our reach.
You will both build the strategy and execute it. There is no existing growth automation infrastructure. Success in this role will be defined by measurable increases in engagement, course participation, and partnerships driven by automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and own the foundation’s growth automation strategy, aligned with organizational priorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-quality datasets.
- Design and maintain data pipelines to clean, enrich, segment, and validate data.
- Create and deploy automated outbound workflows using AI tools for highly personalized communication at scale.
- Build systems that integrate data, enrichment, personalization, sequencing, and tracking.
- Lead structured experimentation: test targeting, messaging, and deliverability to improve engagement and conversion.
- Track performance and ROI.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, APIs, and automation technologies.
- Document systems and processes to ensure scalability and long-term sustainability.
- 2+ of experience in marketing automation, data engineering, computer science, data science, or related fields.
- A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.8+.
- Strong technical fluency with data tools (e.g., advanced spreadsheets, SQL, APIs, data enrichment platforms).
- Practical experience applying AI tools for personalization, content generation, or workflow automation.
- Experience in startups, building automated outbound systems from the ground up, and/or using automation platforms such as Clay are a plus.
- A builder mindset with a bias toward creativity, action, and iteration.
- Comfort operating independently and making decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or related field.
