Position Overview

We are looking for a working Foreman to lead a field crew on commercial, industrial, public infrastructure, and subdivision projects. You will run the day‑to‑day work on site, manage people and equipment, and make sure the job is built safely, on time, and to plan.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and work with a crew to complete daily tasks on site.
  • Plan the work for your crew, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Read plans and stakes and lay out work for equipment operators and laborers.
  • Check quality and production, and keep the job on schedule and within budget.
  • Complete daily reports and time sheets and turn them in on time.
  • Inspect equipment, request repairs, and enforce safe work practices and PPE use.
  • Train new employees on company rules, safety, and how to do the work.
  • Communicate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, inspectors, and customers as needed.
What We Need From You
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of experience leading construction crews on site work or utility projects.
  • Strong skills running heavy equipment used in civil construction.
  • Able to read and understand civil drawings, grades, and basic specifications.
  • Strong people skills, able to give clear direction and hold crews accountable.
  • Good communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather and perform the physical tasks of the job.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company trucks to job sites.
Schedule

4/10 workweek: four 10‑hour days each week, with regular overtime required during peak periods and some Saturdays as needed.
