The Project Manager role is a critical position to help our sales team quote and process orders involving EV equipment, gear, lighting, pipe and wire. In this fast-paced position, the ideal candidate will need to be professional, well organized, able to solve problems, and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the projects and tasks are completed successfully and within a timely manner.
There will be many challenges that arise throughout the day, and the candidate must be able to remain focused and positive to maintain great relationships with the customers, vendors, and other CES employees.
- Data Entry
- Quotation Entry
- Purchase Order Entry
- Input freight charges
- Maintaining outstanding orders within our CRM
- Customer/other Branch Employees Interface
- Discuss material needed
- Compose emails explaining the quotes and/or material requirements
- Provide delivery/tracking information
- Provide lead time
- Act as a conduit between manufacturers/vendors/customers/other branch staff for information on lead times and product details including schedule of deliverables (i.e designs, submittals, and close out documents)
- Present and discuss new products that could benefit their business
- Vendor relations
- Work with vendors to achieve best pricing and lead times
- Build new relationships with vendors that could benefit our customers
- Ensure material arrives when required
- Support in the negotiation for products that are consistently purchased
- Ensure that special offers are presented and that they are honored
- Warehouse Responsibilities
- Returns for unused/ unwanted items
- Stock Maintenance
- Unloading and Receiving Packages
- Warehouse Cleaning and Organizing
- Determining what items to bring into stock (based on previous orders)
- Be willing to learn and drive a forklift
