Tax Manager
At the corporate head office based in Apeldoorn a new position has arisen for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager reports to the Tax Lead , together they are responsible for all tax affairs of Royal Reesink. The Tax Manager has a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. Although the role has a main focus on Corporate Income Tax the responsibilities stretch from (inter) national Corporate Income Tax, to advising on a broad range of Tax topics (f.e. Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting and Reporting VAT, Wage Tax), managing the tax compliance processes (the Corporate Income tax return is outsourced).
You will thus be able to develop into an all-round tax professional.
More specifically the tasks and responsibilities will or may include:
- Provide (inter) national tax advice and support on corporate income tax and withholding tax matters and special projects relating to (inter) national taxation;
- Support in M&A and the various transactions from a tax perspective;
- Support tax audits and tax litigation, including negotiations with local tax authorities
- Maintain the global transfer pricing policy and ensuring proper pricing and transfer pricing documentation for the Group;
- Oversee the Group tax compliance (performed by local finance teams supported by outside advisers and supervised by the Group Tax Manager);
- Support the business on all other tax means (VAT, Wage Tax, Withholding Tax etc.);
- Monitor and analyze legislative and other relevant tax changes, and advise management and take action on potential impact thereof;
- Ensure effective use of external advisers – in terms of quality and cost.
- Build and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as Legal, HR, finance managers, managing directors, tax authorities and tax advisors.
You have a degree in tax and you have some 4-6 years of experience in a large advisory firm or multinational environment. You have a broad interest to handle all tax affairs. Your main focus is (Dutch) corporate Income Tax, but there is flexibility to shuffle tasks to accommodate people with another specialism (for example VAT) who want to broaden their scope.
You are analytically strong, pragmatic and capable to translate complex Tax issues to practical solutions for the business. You are hands-on, down-to-earth, structured and used to working independently. You are fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing).
