Business Controller

Group Control is a head office based controlling team that works closely with the business. As a finance business partner, you are mainly responsible for optimizing business insights and financial performance. Due to the company's growth and professionalization, the team is looking to expand with a Business Controller.

CONDITIONS

• Fixed salary approximately €80 – 100k per annum (including holiday allowance and 13th month)

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with finance and management in the regions, senior management at head office, and the Group Finance & Control team
• Analyse and assess budgets, investment proposals, business plans, and reports of all operating companies
• Prepare management reports and analysis for the Management Board and other stakeholders
• Participate in business review meetings and perform post-investment appraisals
• Provide financial support, guidance, and analysis to senior management
• Engage in performance improvement projects and other key group initiatives
• Propose and implement improvements in management information and controlling functions

PROFILE

• Master's degree in Finance, (Business) Economics, or Accounting, preferably with a post-master RA/RC title
• Extensive experience in a large or complex company, ideally in manufacturing
• Proven track record in a business or financial control role at an international head office, with experience as a controller in an operational entity
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
• Flexible, deadline-oriented, and willing to travel internationally (~30%)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and cultural awareness
