Warehouse Supervisor

Responsible for coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel responsible for receiving, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom, warehouse, and yard.

• Plan outlay of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Lift and carry loads of up to 70 lbs.
• Maintain all inventory in a secure and orderly manner with appropriate controls as outlined in the Company’s inventory control guidelines.
• Distribute supplies and equipment from storage upon authorized request, and return them to proper place after use.
• Perform shipping and receiving function, including lifting and carrying loads of up to 70 lbs.
• Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established Company procedures, and determine adequacy of stock levels.
• Schedule work for special and periodic inventories.
• Trace history of items to determine reason for discrepancies and recommend remedial action.
• Maintain file for converter control purposes.
• Maintain inventory reports.
• Other functions that may be assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse activities and workflow.
• Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish duties without close supervision.
• Knowledge of OSHA and its implications in the job responsibilities.
• Ability to develop and implement a simple record-keeping procedure.
• Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully with other employees.
• Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in each area of the warehouse.

The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 - $59,000.00. When making a job offer, factors considered include years of related work experience, relevant skills and qualifications, education level, and certifications/licenses.
