The part-time Custodial Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within our clinic. This role is essential to supporting patient care by ensuring all areas of the clinic meet infection control, safety, and cleanliness standards. The Custodial Attendant works independently and as part of a team to uphold regulatory requirements and provide a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

• Clean and sanitize exam rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to clinic protocols
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces (doorknobs, counters, chairs, medical equipment surfaces, etc.)
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of medical and general waste in compliance with safety and infection control guidelines
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitizer
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; clean carpets as needed
• Empty trash and biohazard containers following established procedures
• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection prevention standards
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to appropriate staff
• Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Support clinic operations by responding to urgent cleaning needs as they arise

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or environmental services experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and infection control practices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
