The Clinician provides therapy to children, families and adults, treating a broad range of problems for various cultural and socio‑economic backgrounds. The therapy shall include assessments, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and case management. It also includes maintaining client records in current and complete status.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a directly related field
• Must meet eligibility for AZBBHE licensure
• Experience or knowledge of best practice therapeutic approaches
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with liability insurance if driving during agency time; liability coverage approval with HHW’s insurer is required
• Family therapy knowledge/experience
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team environment
• Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping
• Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check
• Have a tuberculosis screening test and provide evidence of freedom from infectious tuberculosis before providing services; annual screening will be performed thereafter
• CPR/First Aid Certification; training will be provided if the candidate does not possess active certification
• Possess the physical, mental, and cognitive ability to perform specific clinical and/or tasks required by the position without posing a direct threat to the safety and security of patients

• Long periods of sitting; ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Operate phone, fax, copier, and computer
• Operate agency vehicle

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience working in Integrated Healthcare, Behavioral Health or Primary Care environment
• Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity
• Certified or licensed as an Independent Practitioner by the State of Arizona
