Starting at $46,700. Additional pay depending upon level of education and years of experience. HR will make placement upon hiring

Position Status:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor/s/Master's Degree

* AZ Teaching Certificate

* AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Required

* Appropriately Certified

* SEI Endorsement preferred

Job Functions:

* Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to effective instruction and learning

* Provide learning experiences correlated with approved curriculum and State and District standards

* Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of each pupil

* Communicate learning goals to students in a well-planned, organized manner using clear and precise language

* Facilitate small and large group instruction based on current research-based best practices

* Use available technology to enhance learning

* Evaluate student growth

* Maintain accurate and complete records as required by State/Federal law and District policy

* Establish oral and/or written lines of communication with guardians to discuss pupil progress

* Participate in team reviews concerning academic progress of low performing/at-risk students

* Use site, District, and State assessment data to drive instruction and place students in appropriate instructional and/or intervention programs

* Effectively implement Individual Education Plans

* Assume responsibility for the supervision of students on school property or in attendance at school-sponsored activities

* Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities

* Participate in school-wide events, scheduled meetings, and conferences with guardians

* Participate in school and District initiatives

* Maintain professional competence through participation in District provided professional development sessions and/or self-selected professional growth activities

* Perform other duties as assigned by the District or school site

Physical Requirements:

* Teaching positions typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, fingering, standing, walking, pushing, reaching, lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions

* Employees may be subject to travel, body fluids, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, workspace restrictions, variant temperatures, and intense noise

* Employees may be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pound of force constantly to move objects
