** Yard Operative
** to join the team at our site in
** Ballymena.

* Hours:

**** Between 07:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 16:00 Friday and every other Saturday morning 08:00-12:00

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Serving customers face to face, providing the highest possible service and care.
* Preparing orders for collection & delivery and ensuring sales documentation is completed.
* Maintaining stock levels
* Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift truck***(training provided*****)
*** Make sure all goods inwards are checked and put away in the correct location.
* Be responsible for personal and workplace health and safety and observe regulations in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act. **(
***** PPE provided*****)
*** Any other duties as may be deemed necessary to ensure business objectives are met.

Skills and Experience:

*** Proven experience working in a similar role and environment.
* Experience in a customer facing role, customer advice.
* Understanding of timber and general building products
* Methodical, with the ability to prioritise workload.
* Good communication skills and a team player.
* Experience driving 3.5t vans and FLTs would be extremely beneficial to the role
