Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Location:
Belfast (London 2nd choice) – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
Duration: until end of April 2026
Contract:
Inside IR35
Central role in securing UK Sales & Commercial success by delivering financial planning and strategy that drives sustainable profitable revenue growth across a range of products and services, in both the medium and long term.
Responsibilities- Manage the planning processes across UK Sales & Commercial finance, driving governance improvement opportunities.
- Produce multiple presentational packs with analysis for the UK S&C LT.
- Drive financial analysis and insight to support the Commercial & Operations teams.
- Lead the Medium Term Planning (MTP) process and Monthly Forecasting process.
- Manage the Month End process.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to drive business improvement on areas such as cost.
- Coordinate, manage and build key commercial and strategic financial P+L forecasts (Outlooks and MTPs) on a rolling basis.
- Lead on the Medium Term Plan annual process ensuring engagement with stakeholders, quality output and delivery within timelines.
- Produce finance presentation material for month end analysis, leadership team and UK S&C reporting.
- Ensure smooth running of Outlook updates required and populate Value Driver Tree (VDT).
- Build and execute plans to deliver projects within the finance team.
- Business partner the Commercial and Operations teams, aligning insight, plans and initiatives.
- Liaise with UK Business Centre, UK S&C Finance Leads and the GFSS Team.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and material presentation as required.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA etc) – preferred.
- Good spreadsheet modelling and analysis skills.
- Experience of using forecasting tools.
- Ability to own and deliver results.
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple business functions.
- Creative thinking and innovation, constantly challenging the status quo.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills at all organisational levels.
- Awareness of how the role contributes to the business’s strategic aims.
