the housing benefit recovery team leader is part of a specialist team responsible for the recovery of off-benefit housing benefit over payments, housing benefit administrative penalties and low income rate relief over payments.
requirementsqualifications and experience
- i) a degree level qualification (level 6*) or an equivalent level qualification in business, finance, accounting, public administration or social policy.
- minimum of 1 years' relevant experience working within a housing benefit over payment recovery or other social security benefit over payment recovery related function.
- ii) a level 5
* qualification in business, finance, accounting, public administration or social policy. - minimum of 2 years' relevant experience working within a housing benefit over payment recovery or other social security benefit over payment recovery related function.
- iii) can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and a minimum of 3 years' working within a housing benefit over payment recovery or other social security benefit over payment recovery related function. (please include dates)
