Registered Nurse - Telemetry

MS Tele RN needed for Post Surgical Unit:
Certification Requirements: ACLS BLS CA RN License EKG Interpretation - REQUIRED Weekend Requirements:
Every Other Weekend:
On Call:
As Needed The Telemetry RN delivers and coordinates the delivery of care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients who require cardiac monitoring so that physiological, psychosocial, safety, learning and self-care needs of patients and their families are addressed. The RN uses his/her understanding of physiology/pathophysiology, nursing process, technology and interpersonal communications to accomplish these accountabilities. Need a telemetry RN traveler experienced with caring for patients on telemetry, and complete nursing interventions such as give IV cardiac medications, heparin and insulin drip etc.

If not needed on the stationed unit-- SCU which is a hybrid unit (patients on the unit are telemetry/med-surg patients) will be floated to other telemetry/ med-surg unit as the hospital need arise.
