About Us
Caregiver One Call is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is simple: no caregiver should ever feel alone at 2 AM. We provide free, real-time support, training, and resources for family caregivers nationwide.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced volunteer grant writer to lead our grant-seeking efforts. This role is for someone with prior success securing funding who can manage the full process: research, proposals, budgets, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Dedicate at least 10 hours per month to grant writing and research
- Identify and track grant opportunities
- Draft and submit strong, mission-aligned proposals
- Assist with proposal budgets and attachments
- Maintain a simple grants calendar and reporting system
Qualifications
- Proven nonprofit grant writing success with funded proposals
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Important Note
This is an unpaid volunteer role. Caregiver One Call cannot guarantee future compensation. Some funders allow staffing or consultant costs, which may create opportunities down the line if awarded, but this is not assured.
