Instructional Aide Subs – School-Based Support | Per Diem | Antioch, CA
Seeking compassionate and dedicated Instructional Aides to provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support to students within a school setting. This per diem, as-needed opportunity offers flexible assignments to accommodate your schedule while making a meaningful impact on students’ educational experiences.
Location- Antioch, California
- Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments
- Provide individualized or small-group support based on teacher and staff direction
- Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as necessary
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Current TB test as required by school district policies
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when required
- Clearance requirements must be met or obtained prior to starting
- Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT (Positive Management Training), or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) credentials a plus, but not mandatory
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
