Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and evening shifts as needed by the program.

Your Impact: The Child Care Aide is responsible for the care and supervision of children at the First 5 Center while parent/caregivers are participating in Center classes or workshops. Major responsibilities include providing supervision of children, engaging children in age‑appropriate activities, providing children snacks, greeting parents/caregivers at drop‑off & pick‑up times, and preparing and keeping clean the child watch area.
Your Skills And Duties:
- Provide supervision to children whose parent or caregivers are participating in Center classes or workshops.
- Engage children in child watch activities in age‑appropriate ways.
- Prepare and provide snacks to children, when indicated.
- Prepare and keep the Child Watch area clean before and after sessions.
- Greet parents/caregivers at pick‑up and drop off times.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education And
Work Experience:
- High School Diploma with one (1) year experience working with children/youth in a similar service.
- Bilingual Spanish; proficient in both English and Spanish.
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record, proof of auto insurance.
