Radius Rule:
Must live >50 miles from facility (expires 2/9)

Shift:

• 12-hour shifts, Day/Night – variable

Weekend/Holiday:

• Every 3rd weekend

• Every other holiday, as applicable

Floating:

• Required to Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley

On-Call / Low Census:

• Travelers may be placed on call during low census (on-call pay applies)

• Contract allows 36 hours unbillable low census

• On-call hours count toward the 36 hours

• 2-hour call-back minimum if called in

Licensure & Certifications (required at submission):

• WI RN License

• BLS, ACLS

• Telemetry interpretation highly preferred

• Travel experience preferred

Experience:

• 2+ years Med/Surg

Charting:

• EPIC (preferred)

Unit Overview:

• 16-bed unit

• Ratios:
Days 4–5, PMs 5–6, NOCs 6–7

• Staffing: 3 RNs (days), 3 RNs (PMs), 2 RNs (nights)

Scrubs:
Any color

Additional Policy:

• During flu season, travelers declining flu/COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times (mandatory Aspirus policy; no exceptions)
