Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week

• 13-week contract assignment

• Work every third weekend and every other holiday rotation

• Must float to multiple locations including Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley

• May be placed on call during low census hours with call back minimum of 2 hours

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of facility

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS (must have in hand at submission)

• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required

• Highly preferred: ability to read and interpret telemetry, travel experience

• Epic charting experience preferred

• Work on 16-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios typically 4-5 on days, 5-6 on evenings, 6-7 on nights

• Unit staffing: 3 RNs on days, 3 on evenings, 2 on nights

• Scrubs: any color acceptable

• Excellent assessment skills required

• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and covid vaccination
