Delivery Driver

Job Summary

Delivery Driver – Full-time.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a straight truck along a daily delivery route. Tasks include delivering customers’ furniture, assembling and installing when required, inspecting furniture for flaws or damage, resolving customer complaints, inspecting and cleaning the company vehicle to keep it presentable and functional, and performing other duties as assigned.

• Daily pay: $240 a day
• 4 day work week

• Education: Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.

  Required:
  
  Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Medical Physical.
• Experience: 1‑3 years related experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time, can be expected to lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as part of a team, occasionally must ascend and descend ladders and stairs safely, may be required to work safely from heights when necessary, and must adhere to safe lifting techniques, proper training for job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
