MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - HVAC Repair - Pneumatics

Location: District-Wide

• Repair and maintain all HVAC, steam and hydronics systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to service calls.
• Pneumatic background needed.
• Maintain truck inventory and department tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, Leads or designee.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience in HVAC, hydronics, and building maintenance repair or apprentice.
• Requires valid Class "D" Minnesota Driver's License.
• Ability to read, understand and follow architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and schematic drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to understand and observe oral and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of computers and computer programs used in the assigned area.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Motivated self-starter; well-organized and efficient; ability to work with minimum supervision and direction.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
• Must be physically working in the building/on site.

• Preferred Licensing:
  Pneumatic background or repair certifications, Universal Refrigerant License or Pipe Fitter License or Master Gas License, RPZ Backflow Certification, Boilers License, HVAC A.A.S. degree.
