• Routine work in the preparation and service of food.
• Perform routine tasks involved in food preparation, food service, dishwashing, and cleaning the food service area, following HACCP regulations.
• Prepare small quantities of food for special diets.
• Wash dishes and utensils.
• Clean equipment, cupboards and furniture.
• Operate a dishwashing machine.
• Observe standard sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform related work as required.
• Operate electric cart to deliver meal trays.
• Provide a safe and secure facility.

• Working knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing food and the use of cooking utensils and large-scale food service equipment; some knowledge of food values, nutrition, food safety HACCP and infection control.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication and instruction.
• Manual dexterity and motor coordination to perform repetitive duties rapidly and efficiently.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive duties.
• Knowledge of operating a Cushman cart (electric cart) for delivery of food items following safety standards.
• Stand/walk for the majority of the shift; bend, carry, push and handle items as required.

• Resume should clearly describe experience in listed areas with beginning and ending month/year for each job.
• Reference/background checks will be conducted to verify credentials and criminal history prior to appointment.
• TB documentation requirement: DCT facilities require documentation of being free from tuberculosis (TB) through a blood test prior to employment. TB skin testing is not accepted.
