Product Quality Inspector Coordinator
Location:
Anoka, MN
Contract: 6-12 months to start.
Hours: 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm, M-F
Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
SummaryThe Product Quality Testing Coordinator/Specialist is responsible for observing, documenting, designing, implementing and working cross functionally to coordinate product performance testing within various conditions to evaluate performance of edible cake décor.
Responsibilities- Coordinate product testing to ensure performance testing can be completed to ensure timely delivery based on company program and customer timelines.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, R&D, Product Management, IBP, Procurement, and Sales to ensure products meet internal quality benchmarks and consumer/customer expectations.
- Document and analyze test data and provide feedback on performance under various conditions and areas of improvement. Prepare reports on test outcomes for internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Communicate with internal departments, regulatory bodies and suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for food products.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related role/field including quality control, product testing, stability, or quality assurance.
- Prefer an Associate’s degree or higher.
- Experience in food product performance testing is highly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Meticulous attention to detail for precise testing and evaluation.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently but also be able to collaborate and work well within cross functional teams.
- Must be able to clearly and professionally communicate with internal business partners.
- Familiarity with quality systems.
- Basic problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills.
