Registered Nurse - Hospital ; Clinic

Overview

Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) is seeking a Registered Nurse at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC). This is a hospital support (clinic) position; the employee will perform ECT duties, venipuncture for labs, support clinical needs, and schedule medical appointments. The work location is Anoka, MN, with Day Shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday. Telework is not available.

Salary ranges from $39.30 - $58.16 hourly; $82,058 - $121,438 annually. This position is classified, exempt - professional, and represented by the MN Nurses Association (MNA).

• Perform ongoing assessments of each patient’s biopsychosocial needs
• Develop initial nursing plan of care
• Perform charge nurse duties
• Apply interventions identified in the treatment plan and document all nursing care
• Facilitate and co-facilitate group programming
• Interact respectfully with all patients while maintaining professional boundaries
• Provide input on patients’ progress and recommend changes to the treatment plan
• Participate in discharge planning with the patient and other team members

• Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. Future RNs within six months of graduating and taking the NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent offers may be made upon successful degree completion and NCLEX-RN passage.
• Competency in performing blood draws and providing assessments for post-recovery for ECT

• Experience working in a mental health setting
