We are partnering with a well-established, fast-growing electronics manufacturing organization in Anoka, MN to hire a Production Planner for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with PCBA/PCB or box build experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-reliability manufacturing environment.

This company moves quickly through the interview process (phone or in-person) and is looking to hire immediately.

Position Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for ensuring materials are available and aligned with the build schedule and customer demand. This role plays a key part in balancing production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop demand plans using historical data, backlog, and forecasts
  • Create and manage production build schedules using load leveling and Theory of Constraints (TOC)
  • Monitor material and capacity constraints and take corrective action
  • Partner with Program Management, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing teams
  • Generate KPI dashboards tracking schedule adherence, inventory controls, and budget accuracy
  • Analyze inventory levels to reduce shortages, excess, and improve cash flow
  • Identify material risks impacting production and recommend solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and production
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in:
  • Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA)
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Fabrication
  • Electrical Mechanical Assembly (Box Build)
  • 2+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong MRP/ERP system experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Understanding of quality systems (AS9100, ISO, Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
  • Ability to read Bills of Material (BOMs) and assembly drawings
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • On-site role in a professional manufacturing setting
  • Primarily seated position
  • Fast-paced environment with deadline-driven schedules
