Manufacturing Draftsman​/Engineer

Position: Manufacturing Draftsman/Engineer (7 Years Exp.)
Machine & Process Design (MPD) designs and fabricates high-quality processing equipment for the dairy, food, pet food, chemical, and agricultural industries. We are looking for a full-time Drafter/Engineer to join our team and support a wide range of drafting and engineering tasks. This role works closely with both engineering and sales to develop accurate, professional production drawings and project documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

Create 3D layouts and develop complete 2D print packages for custom equipment lines.
Define purchase components such as motors, gear reducers, bearings, and drive packages .
Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) , engineering records, fabricated prints, and purchase order details.
Support assigned projects with accurate documentation and timely updates.
Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication with coworkers, vendors, and customers.

Experience & Qualifications

Engineering degree preferred.
7+ years of drafting/engineering experience in a manufacturing or equipment-focused environment.
Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D CAD (MPD uses One Space modeling and drafting software).
Strong Microsoft Office skills and general computer proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
