Adventures Plus Summer Program - multiple positions available

June 8 - August 27 - Monday thru Friday, 2 to 8 hours per day (closed June 19; July
3)

Site Leaders often alternate opening (6:15 am - 2:15 pm) and closing (10:00 am - 6:00 pm) schedules weekly or bi-weekly.

• Plan and carry out activities for school-age children involved in the Adventures Plus program.
• Supervise Child Care Assistant staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree (60 college credits) / Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA); and 1 year consistent employment working with children.
• OR 24 credits in Areas of Training/Credit listed below; and 2 years consistent employment working with children.

Current First Aid and CPR certification or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment (provided free of charge by Adventures Plus upon hire). Proof of CPI certification, or the ability to pass the CPI class (provided free of charge by Adventures Plus upon hire). Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.

Experience working with traditionally marginalized communities preferred.

New Hires $20.72/hour;
Current Adventures Plus Site Leaders accepting employment in their same category shall be paid at their school year ending hourly rate on the salary schedule through their summer employment. This position is premium pay eligible. Assignments will be made based on students’ needs.
