Secretaries for Targeted Services Elementary Summer School Program
4 temporary summer worker secretarial positions available for summer school.
Dates & Summer Hours- Wednesday, June 10 set up day – 7.5 hours
- Monday – Thursday, June 15‑18 and June 22‑25
8:30 am – 12:45 pm (exact hours may vary). Assignments will be made based on student needs. 4.25 hours per day, plus up to 10 additional hours as needed by the Summer Building Leader (includes set‑up day and after‑school Synergy training). Total hours up to 44.0.

Primary Responsibilities- Receptionist – point of contact for the site.
- Provide general clerical support for the summer school staff.
- Assist with set‑up/material distribution.
- Answer phones; greet students and families; manage attendance; contact parents.
- Copy and file documents; provide staff support.
- Manage the Synergy database (attendance, updates, class rosters, enrollment).
- Other duties as assigned by the summer school administrator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and public relations skills.
- Experience working with Synergy attendance.
- Must be physically working in the building.
New hires: $19.05 per hour. Current secretaries: paid their regular rate through their summer assignment. “Regular Hourly Rate” shall not include stipends for certificates. Summer employment does not affect eligibility for insurance, vacation, sick leave, or any other benefit. Assignments will be made based on students’ needs.
Active Casual HoursBased on enrollment.
