M1 Abrams Field Service Mechanic

Anniston, AL with up to 70% travel to CONUS Military Bases

$31.80/hr ($26.87‑BASE + $4.93‑Benefit Pay) + 11 paid holidays/year after 90 days + Sick time

• Experienced Abrams mechanic to perform deprocessing and maintenance tasks on M1A1 ED and M1A2 SEP V2 vehicles.
• Provide input to program planning, schedules, and maintenance techniques for the Abrams fleet.
• Identify technical problems and assist the Field Service Representative in performing maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership responsible for maintenance.
• Must have three (3) or more years of experience working on the Abrams M1A2 SEP tanks.
• Must be able to gain access to US Military facilities or bases; including a NACI clearance if required.
• Must be willing to travel within the United States (up to 70%) to perform maintenance tasks and deprocessing.
• Must be a U.S. person.
• Must have a valid State Driver's License and be able to obtain a tank driver's license.
• Must meet the anthropometric requirements (ASR) to enter the driver's station or any enclosed military vehicle:
  shorter than 6' 4" and weigh less than 260 lbs.
• Must be able to successfully pass the Job Proficiency Certification for Abrams fleet vehicles.
• Be able to work autonomously with government personnel.
