Responsibilities- Process shipments of various types in an efficient and timely manner, including Fed Ex shipments, truckload, flatbed, and LTL shipments via 3PL web portal, and hazmat BOLs in compliance with 49
CFR. - Process shipments via Government web portal TEAMS.
- Process shipments via Government web portal SIRS.
- Execute shipment entry for Government material exercising extreme detail as documented in the shipment process.
- Ship export material to various international locations.
- Use working knowledge of current export rules and regulations.
- Reconcile systematic vs. physical inventory of non-conforming parts in the shipping area.
- Perform root-cause corrective action for NCR issue items.
- Ensure supplies for shipping are kept in stock.
- Manage incident response as needed.
- Process job packets for shipment.
- Communicate SO pick needs to warehouse personnel.
- Follow up on aged materials in the shipping department.
- Adhere to all FARS and DFARS rules and regulations.
- Willingness to go where needed to support business objectives and outcomes.
- High School diploma with 2 years of working experience in Transportation/Shipping/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
- Team oriented.
- Willingness to be flexible with work schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to resolve problems.
- Working knowledge of export rules and regulations.
- Understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
- Experience working with union personnel.
- Prior management/supervisor experience is a plus.
- Hazmat experience.
Full‑Time Salary Range: $38,853 - $62,165
