Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in foundry operations by performing the following duties. QualificationsPost high school education and related work experience are significant background qualifications for a candidate seeking this position. The Company is especially interested in candidates who have a degree from a four (4) year college or university. Another significant qualification is previous work experience as a foundry supervisor. The minimum qualifications for this position is a high school diploma with a strong preference for candidates with two (2) years of post high school education and two (2) years of related work experience.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
