Blaster​/Operator

What You'll Do:

• Operate automated and manual blasting equipment to clean and prepare concrete poles.
• Load and unload parts into blasting chambers or onto material handling equipment utilizing a crane.
• Monitor control panels and equipment indicators to ensure proper operation and cycle timing.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required blast profiles.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure they meet cleanliness and texture standards.
• Identify and correct issues during shot blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct basic maintenance such as greasing equipment, checking fluid levels, and changing filters or media.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating industrial or abrasive blasting equipment preferred.
• Understanding of surface preparation standards and blast profile requirements preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, production schedules, and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
