The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager / Estimator to take ownership of both preconstruction and project execution.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who:
- Has personally run commercial or industrial jobs
- Is comfortable estimating work and managing it through completion
- Enjoys working closely with ownership and mentoring others
- Wants autonomy, stability, and long-term growth
You will be trusted to manage projects, contribute to estimating, and help strengthen internal processes as the company continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage industrial and commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout
- Prepare and review estimates, takeoffs, and pricing for upcoming work
- Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Coordinate closely with ownership on project planning and execution
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subs, and vendors
- Identify risks, resolve field issues, and keep projects moving forward
- Support training and development of junior team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management and estimating
- Background in industrial and/or commercial construction (required)
- Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and costs
- Experience working directly with owners, clients, and subcontractors
- Practical, hands-on leadership style — not corporate or theoretical
- Comfortable in a smaller company environment where versatility matters
- Base salary around $120,000, plus performance and annual bonuses
