A state government agency is hiring seasonal lifeguards for the 2026 summer season at Pocomoke River State Park. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and certified in Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR. Responsibilities include monitoring water activities, ensuring safety, and providing first aid as necessary. Contract employment ranges from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Experience and higher certifications are preferred.
Pay starts at $17.50 per hour with additional health benefits for eligible employees.
