Brightside Boutique – Downtown Annapolis

Brightside is looking for a driven, creative, fashion-obsessed Store Manager to lead our Annapolis location.

This is not just a retail job — this is leadership inside a high-energy, brand-forward, community-driven boutique. Our Annapolis store thrives during downtown events, holiday seasons, and busy waterfront weekends. We need someone who loves that pace.

• Monitor sales trends and performance metrics
• Set and execute sales goals to drive profitability
• Identify opportunities to increase customer retention and repeat business
• Implement strategies to maximize in-store and online sales

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise sales associates
• Coach performance and provide consistent feedback
• Lead daily zoning during peak traffic hours
• Assign and oversee completion of checklists and operational tasks
• Maintain a motivated, high-energy team culture

• Deliver and exceed customer service goals
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and confidence
• Maintain a calm, solutions-focused presence during high-volume periods
• Build long-term relationships through authentic engagement

• Conduct weekly inventory and manage stock levels
• Receive and process product transfers and new shipments
  
  Organize the sales floor to ensure it remains clean, elevated, and on-brand
• Create compelling visual displays to drive engagement and sales
• Maintain store cleanliness, security, and compliance standards

• Support and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and holiday strategies
• Represent Brightside during downtown Annapolis events
• Drive in-store excitement around launches and special sales

• 1+ years of retail leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proven management experience
• Ability to train, develop, and motivate a team
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Shopify knowledge (a plus)
• Comfort using desktop, mobile, and digital retail technology
• A passion for customer experience and community building
• Mandatory holiday, weekend, and event availability
