- Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen
- Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly
- Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way
- Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment
- Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit
- Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture
- The interview will consist of at least 3 stages: initial discussion, meal preparation, and final interview, consisting of a mix of both. The hours expected each week range from 40 to 50 hours

Qualifications- Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
- Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
- At least 5 years of culinary experience, either as a sous chef or executive chef
- Must possess a team first mentality in our operation
$60,000 - $70,000 per year
