Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef, located in Annapolis, MD. The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, managing and mentoring kitchen staff, developing innovative menus, ensuring food quality and consistency, and managing inventory and food costs. They will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

This role requires creativity, strong leadership, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications
  • Culinary expertise, including experience in preparing high-quality seafood and steak dishes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Menu development, food inventory management, and cost control experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen best practices.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine-dining establishment is preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is highly desirable.
