Nurse Practitioner – Bariatric Surgery (Full Time – No Nights or Weekends)

Healthcare is changing and Luminis Health is growing! We are currently seeking an NP in Bariatric Surgery at our Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Become a beacon of light and hope for our patients.

In this role, you will provide supervised medical services for patients with an emphasis on outpatient setting and inpatient rounding. All duties are in collaboration with contracted physician, services are provided under the rules, regulations, and policies established by the approved job description of the State of Maryland, BPQA, HCFA, AMA, and AAMC.

• Providing education and counsel appropriate to the medical needs of the patient
• Maintaining current licensure and continuing medical education credits as required by Maryland State Law
• Communicating treatment / therapy progress with individuals who have the responsibility or control in patient care intervention
• Referring patients to appropriate licensed physician or other health care provider as condition or circumstances warrant

• Bachelor’s degree
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
• 2+ years’ experience as an NP in a bariatric setting
• Outpatient w/ inpatient rounding/hospital OR skills a plus
