• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care
• Work primarily with an adult geriatric population
• Serve as role model for staff through safe, effective and efficient nursing care; supervise clinical aspects of nursing
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department
• Interface with others to insure efficient unit operations
• Seek opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills are strongly preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
• Must possess a current CPR license
