Job Description HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a talented Front-End Developer who also has strong UX/UI design skills to join our team. This role bridges design and development, ensuring that our applications are not only functional and performant but also visually appealing and user-friendly. Essential

Job Responsibilities
* Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
* Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional code.
* Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
* Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
* Implement and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
* Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback to improve user experience.
* Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
* Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
* Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
* Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support.
* Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
* Leading development of classification marking and access-control tooling.
* Mentoring junior developers and improve team development processes.
* Analyzing system requirements and supporting architecture documentation.
* Performing full lifecycle development and troubleshooting.
* Working independently or as part of a collaborative development team.
* Reviewing and testing software components to ensure adherence to design requirements and documenting test results.
* Resolving software problem reports and implementing corrective actions.
* Utilizing software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
* Providing input to system-level design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and the use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development.
* Conducting requirements analysis and synthesizing system-level requirements into individual software components.

Minimum Qualifications
* Security Clearance - A current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required with ability to upgrade
* U.S. citizenship
* At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Front-End Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Vue, React, Angular), and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* IATT Level 2 Compliance:
* Must possess or be able to obtain within 60 days of start of employment (CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or SSCP.)
* Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
* Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
* Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
* Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
* 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* Must be able to work in a hybrid environment , spending an average of 1-2 days per month in Odenton, MD.
