Job Title:

Administrator with Active Red Hat Certification

Location:

Annapolis, MD (Hybrid)

Duration:
Long term Contract /C2C

Interview Mode:

NOTE:

· Candidate Must Have Active Red Hat Certification/ Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)

· Candidate Must Comfortable to Share Highest Degree Copy (Masters or Bachelor)

· Minimum 10+ Years of Experience Candidate Must Available for Face-to-Face Round

Duties/Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers across all environments.

· Perform upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.

· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

· Implement automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, or Python.

· Maintain tools such as Red Hat Satellite and Identity Management.

· Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability protection and compliance.

· Maintain and optimize storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

· Support application teams with Linux-based deployment best practices.

· Document system configurations and procedures.

· Participate in on-call support and incident resolution.

· Setup NFS and mount points.

· Configure Chron jobs for systems and applications.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification required.

Required Experience:

· 10+ years as a Red Hat system administrator.

· 10+ years administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems.

· Experience with Oracle Web Logic, Oracle DB, Progress/Open Edge, Apache, vSphere RHEL, Rubrik, People Soft, Elastic Search, Mobius, CVS.

· Strong networking and Red Hat performance tuning.

· Backup, recovery, disaster recovery expertise.

· Application development and electronic imaging support.

· Experience supporting 24/7 high availability environments.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with:

· Working in a complex networked system environment with strong networking.

· Administering systems including, but not limited to, the applications below:

o Oracle Web Logic Servers

o Oracle Database Servers

o Progress 4GL/Database Servers/Open Edge

o vSphere hosted RHEL Servers.

o Rubrik backup systems.

o Oracle Database backups.

o People Soft

o Elastic Search

o Oracle OBI

Red Hat performance tuning.

· Load balancing, partitioning, back-up/recovery, and disaster recovery.

· Working in an environment that requires 24/7 system availability.

· Electronic Imaging Support.

Ability to:

· Work in a team environment.

· Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.

· Demonstrate leadership skills.

· Interface with users and helpdesk for day-to-day support.

· Provide Backup/recovery and networking methodologies.

· Troubleshoot at the Operating System (OS), database, and application levels.

Knowledge of:
Red Hat administration including configuration and tuning.
