THE WORK
This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high-visibility mission. This position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.

This Program is seeking a full‑stack software engineer to develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse software systems supporting Analytic Missions. The program has a robust process to ensure quality of products, including DAT, UAT/SME Validation, Smoke Test and System Level Test (SLT) before deploying to production.
WHO YOU AREExperience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing and debugging of software solutions, focusing on Linux operating systems. Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java.

Basic Qualifications- Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience (total of 11) on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Full‑stack development including JavaScript, React and Mongo, prior analytic experience in production environments
- Agile software development
- Machine Learning
- Map Reduce technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.)
- Distributed Big Data Store (No

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $86,100 – $151,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
