3) Background
* Experience installing, updating, and upgrading Linux Operating Systems ﴾OS﴿

* Experience with utilities used to manage Linux OS disk file systems

* analyzing and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide ﴾STIG﴿ requirements in Linux OS

* Implementing Windows Active Directory User Authentication in Linux OS

* Executing the process for managing information assurance vulnerability alerts ﴾IAVAs﴿ and system security scanning for equipment suites in accordance with the System Security Plans for these systems to rapidly and accurately identify and remediate IAVAs

* Initiating IAVA responses and system security scans, completing remediation, and extending IAVA patches and security updates on various IT and network systems Requirements
* BS degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of relevant experience

* 5 years of direct, hands‐on experience providing assistance to users in an IT customer service capacity

* 5 years of experience working on an IT/software program that utilizes complex equipment/systems ﴾ex. Network Switches, Routers, LANs, & cabling, Windows/Linux operating systems, VMware, etc.﴿

* experience installing, updating, and upgrading Linux Operating Systems ﴾OS﴿

* Analyzing and addressing IAVAs/CVEs ﴾response and remediation, system security scans, extending IAVA patches and security updates on IT and network systems, etc﴿ Preferred
* Experience with security standards, software architectures, and Network security technologies ﴾Multiple Domain, PKI, SSP, Vulnerability Assessment, etc.﴿

* Experience building and deploying Virtual Machines within an On‐Premises Data Center

* Experience supporting a large, complex software configuration management and development program

* xperience reading, analyzing, and addressing security vulnerabilities discovered from automated scanning tools

* Experience working with Enterprise Domain Services
