- The Systems Engineer supports the design, integration, and delivery of complex mission systems in cloud-enabled and Dev Ops environments
- This role manages system requirements, develops DoDAF-compliant architectures, and leads system integration activities to ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and interoperable production systems aligned with Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Develop operational view (OV), technical standards view (TV), and system/services view (SV) architectures using applicable DoDAF standards
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to design and deliver new system capabilities, considering all development, operational, security, and sustainment factors
- Lead a team of Systems Engineers, coordinating efforts across a broad range of organizations to accomplish systems engineering initiatives and tasks
- Derive and document an understanding of stakeholder needs, functions, and implied requirements essential to overall system effectiveness
- Establish and maintain a formal requirements management and change control process, proactively managing impacts to scope, schedule, and technical performance
- Develop system design solutions that satisfy functional and non‑functional requirements, including performance, security, and interoperability
- Identify technical risks, develop alternative courses of action, and participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) efforts
- Establish and follow formal procedures for coordinating system integration activities across multiple development and operational teams
- Ensure complete coverage and alignment of system interfaces, dependencies, and integration touchpoints
- Capture all interface designs in a common Interface Control Document (ICD) format
- Generate and evaluate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions to support informed decision‑making
- Support cloud architecture, Dev Ops pipelines, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts to enable rapid and reliable system delivery
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with MD Customer Full Scope Polygraph
- 15 years' experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting cloud‑based and Dev Ops‑enabled systems
- Strong experience in systems integration and architecture development
- Hands‑on experience managing system requirements and interfaces
- Experience working in DoD or IC environments
- Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across multiple organizations

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
