Description

Interclypse is seeking a full-time (40 hour/week) junior system administrator in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We use a combination of vendor capabilities both on-premise and in the cloud to support internal corporate and numerous customer projects. The individual for this position must be a self-starter but will receive mentorship and guidance from the Director of IT.

Our junior system admin position is an entry-level position geared towards individuals with limited system administrator experience. Our unique career development program will provide the individual with mentorship, continuous learning opportunities, and the empowerment needed to grow as a Dev Ops engineer, software engineer, or other technical disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and manage new and existing applications, tools, services, and cloud environments
  • Manage Windows and Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) systems
  • Work with software engineering teams
Requirements Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant technical degrees

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Linux scripting and automation
  • Understanding of networking (Subnetting and TCP/IP)
  • Object oriented programming skills
Desired Qualifications

Experience with the following technologies:

  • Experience with Windows Group Policy and Powershell
  • Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform/Open Tofu
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • AWS or Azure Certifications
  • Willingness to learn on the job while getting things done
  • Able to work in an agile environment
  • Desire to do programming
