Overview
Position Objective:
Evaluates pediatric through geriatric patients for Speech-Language Pathology services providing therapeutic intervention specific to the individual needs of the patient. Completes interventions and documentation according to regulatory and departmental standards.

The minimum level of education and experience for this position includes:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Acute care or related experience preferred; however, new graduates will be considered depending on current departmental staffing.
- Current license in Speech-Language Pathology by the Maryland Board of Audiology/Hearing Aid Dispensers/Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS CPR certification.
There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
