Position OverviewAs a Rehabilitation Specialist in our Bay Ridge Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in their recovery journeys from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use challenges.
Position Hours2pm–10pm, Tuesday–Saturday.
Key Responsibilities- Provide transportation for clients as needed.
- Assist with money management.
- Schedule appointments.
- Offer dietary coaching.
- Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.
- Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.
- Engage clients in their recovery process and offer compassionate support.
- Ensure the safety and presence of each client throughout the shift.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: BA/BS/AA or education in a related field.
- Experience: At least one year in mental health/psychosocial rehabilitation or a similar field.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
